Based on the pistols used by the Marine Corps’ Marine Expeditionary Unit, the SOCOM Gear Full Metal M1911 MEU is an excellent, high quality gas blowback pistol for any airsoft operator. The pistol has an aluminum slide and frame that gives the pistol a very realistic weight and feel. Along the slide there are unique laser etched makings to make the pistol standout. The slide features front and rear serrations that makes it easier to manipulate. The pistol also features ambidextrous safety that can be actuated with either the left or right hand, as well as a functioning beaver tail safety. The frame features a tactical rail to mount flashlights or lasers. The pistol uses non-slip rubberized combat grips allows the operator to maintain a more positive grip on the gun – even when its wet. Out of the box, the SOCOM Gear M1911 MEU comes with a lot of accessories including: a 15 round magazines, a SOCOM gear pistol lanyard and a 14mm CCW threaded barrel adapter. The lanyard can be attached to any MOLLE platform or belt and securely retains the pistol should it fall out of the holster. The threaded barrel adapter gives operators the option to add any barrel extension to give the pistol a more tactical look.
